Joseph Deliso graduated from St. John's University School of Law in 1985 and has devoted his career to personal-injury litigation. His work includes serious motor-vehicle collisions, construction accidents, nursing-home negligence and pressure-injury cases, premises liability, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and other matters involving significant injury.
He is admitted to practice in the State of New York and before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
Mr. Deliso's approach places particular emphasis on understanding the medical record and developing proof of causation, permanency, functional loss, and damages. Depending on the case, that work can involve treating records, diagnostic imaging, physicians, radiologists, engineers, biomechanics experts, investigators, and other professionals.
